Blossoming Town Rich With Life
In 1925, at the peak of the Florida home sale boom, some Brevard County residents decided it was time to establish their seaside community as a Florida city. This tropical paradise was incorporated in 1952 as Indialantic, meaning “between the Indian River and the Atlantic Ocean.”
The population of 1550 in 1952 has blossomed to over 3,000, and is ranked #30 on the list of “Top 101 cities with largest percentage of females in professional and related occupations”.
Just north of Melbourne Beach, Indialantic is conveniently accessible from the mainland by Highway 192, also called “Melbourne Causeway,” which arrives into the heart of Indialantic and ends at A1A.
There are several small parks beach parks, and of course plenty of beach! Homes currently range from upper $100s to well over 2M for River & Ocean Front estate homes.
